To put it bluntly, about half my DVD’s won’t play at all, gives a weird error message – I can’t even remember the message. However the others play fine – no idea what is causing this. These tapes all play fine in my other DVD player, and played fine in the old one until it broke, so I’ve got to assume its the DVD player that is broken not the tapes (and some of the non-functioning tapes are new or nearly new). I adjusted for the problem by putting this DVD player into a place where its only used by my wife for her exercise videos (most of which play), but I shouldn’t have had to do that.

I bought this DVD player because I needed something to replace my DVD player which just wasn’t working anymore. This one works great, has good sound quality (although I don’t have a fancy setup, so I can’t speak to how it sounds on a home entertainment system).

I gave this one to my daughter-in-law and she loves it. Now I have to buy me another one. I have no complaints. The cost was great and it plays all of DVD’s like I had spent much more money. It is very clear, has the rewind, and everything the expensive ones have. The only thing is that it is very long and I thought it was shorter in length. Other than that it is great.

Can’t beat a rock solid DVD thats cheaper than a Blu Ray disc…for all the old movies in the bedroom, rock it.
